The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a hate group that masquerades as an anti-hate group.  It was founded in 1971 by Joseph J Levins Jr. and Morris Dees, a racist who is known for sexually harassing women.  The organization is actually a money-making scheme (ahem scam) of lawyers who get rich on the backs of the poor and the duped.  The Super Happy Fun America Law Center is on the record as being anti-duping.

The Southern Poverty Law Center insists that they are not a hate group but are simply fighting hate and bigotry in the name of justice.   They have been successful at posing as a legitimate civil rights group in order to gain the trust of the media, education institutions, corporations, and even government agencies.  They are then able to capitalize on their relationships by insisting that they be paid exorbitant amounts of money to combat hate in an organization.  A far better use of these donations would be to give that money to Super Happy Fun America, an organization opposed to hate groups such as the SPLC.

The SPLC hides behind its reputation as a civil rights organization in order to raise money from gullible donors.  It has created a list of its adversaries which it calls “hate groups”.  The list includes champions of the family, pro-life groups, conservative organizations, and those that support enforcing America’s immigration policies.  Its list of “hate crimes” now include Christian opposition to same-sex marriage.  Noticeably absent from the list are groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

The real purpose of the SPLC’s “hate groups” list is to silence and isolate opponents by tarring them with ugly associations.  Their tactic is to include conservative organizations on the same list as racist groups . They aim to scare government agencies and corporations from working with conservative and patriotic organizations.  The SPLC also works to make funding and outreach difficult for groups that are added to their “hate list”.

The SPLC also uses its list of adversaries to fund raise.  It has amassed assets worth almost $400 million from frightened liberal donors by convincing them that fascists are everywhere.  The fake news media reinforces this narrative by reporting on the SPLC’s press releases.

Morris Dees once defended a Ku Klux Klansmen accused of beating up a black reporter covering the Freedom Riders.  We strongly oppose the beating up of black reporters.  Dees and his partner, Millard Fuller, ran a successful business but Dees wanted to get wealthy.  “Morris and I … shared the overriding purpose of making a pile of money.  We were not particular about how we did it.  We just wanted to be independently rich.”  said his former partner.  That’s when Dees realized that he could make a substantial profit claiming to represent the poor and oppressed.

Mark Potok, who is prominently associated with the SPLC, was caught on video proclaiming the organizations true intentions: “The Press will describe us as monitoring hate groups.  I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them.”

While presenting itself as a monitor of “hate groups”, the SPLC foments hate.  It was in May 2017 that Charles Murray was violently attacked by protestors inflamed by the SPLC designating him as a racist.  A professor who was escorting Murray ended up in the hospital.  In 2012 a gunman attempted mass murder at the headquarters of the Family Research Council.  The gunman said he targeted them because the SPLC listed them as a hate group.  Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali refugee and human rights activist who speaks out against Islamic extremism and genital mutilation was named in the organization’s “Field Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists.”

The good news is that many are waking up to the Southern Poverty Law Center.  The FBI used to partner with them in identifying hate groups.  They no longer do. The Army used to have them lecture on domestic terrorism. The Army has ended that relationship and should now consider using Super Happy Fun America’s services instead.

The SPLC has now been added to Super Happy Fun America Law Center of hate groups and the chickens have come home to roost. (and roast)
